Even considering he retired at 33, Walter Davis had an incredible career at a position of weakness across the league. Will this be enough for him to get into the NBN Hall of Fame?

Arguments For Induction
- No title, but he did essentially everything else you'd expect out of an elite SF. Plenty of All-League and All-Star appearances, 13 years of 19.5+ PPG, and a ton of ability across the board.
- The guy retired at A- A- A- A+ C+ C so, I mean, it's hard to argue that he wasn't an elite talent that could burn you many different ways. Davis was a regular 2.5+ StockPG player who grabbed rebounds at a 7-ish clip per game, passed the ball well, and was super efficient for his entire career, pretty much. One of the best builds we've seen anyone make out of a small forward.
- Davis regularly made teams better, which forced him in the spotlight. He LOVED volume, and the seasons he had 1800+ shots were the seasons he was at his best, especially in 2042 where he shot nearly 2000 times at a 47.5% clip. Dude was incredibly talented and even made it on a few All-D teams throughout his career.
Arguments Against Induction
- He never won a title and retired as soon as he got to Charlotte rather than waiting it out a few extra seasons, so he kinda killed his own chances by leaving at the very tail end of his prime. It's tough to hold it against him and he was very productive for the Timberwolves and Pacers, but yeah, no championship.
- Some slight turnover issues popped up throughout his career which would drive a few GMs around the league crazy. 3+ TOPG 3 times and was in the mid-high 2s for the remainder of his career regardless of how much he had the ball in his hands.
- Did he retire too early? I think you can definitely argue that someone who retires at 33 with the elite ratings he had would be a bit of a head scratcher and might end up affecting his overall career, especially considering he was probably still playing at a high-enough level to make an ASG/All-League team once or twice more.
Vote carefully, and remember to throw out arguments regardless of which side you're on. This should be a discussion that eventually gets the league to the proper decision on him. Your vote can also be retracted after it's been cast if you feel like switching to the other side based on the arguments that have been made. To be inducted, a player needs 70% and to be considered in a later class they need 50%. Vote carefully.
***BONUS - Don't forget that everyone who votes gets $100 and the person that makes the best argument or contributes to the discussion the best will be awarded an extra $100***
