I think Rog just overlooked the fact that the Hawks are trying to add an asset here since the previous reason stated was to get a player off the books.
But either way, I had no issues with the old trade and I have no issues with the new trade.

The interim rules literally state cash trades would be heavily scrutinized, and the old way was no cash being traded at all. I'm heavily scrutinizing a team without a GM sending $150 for a guy they'll have for less than 60 days of a season.
And the other trade was to relieve cap and thats not happening here, so it made, and still makes, no sense.

This didn't happen. You didn't send it to me, you didn't provide an explanation as to why the Hawks should do this. Be as mad as you desire, you didn't follow the rules as stated and therefore I'm going to ask questions. Literally this trade doesn't go with the rules, you are sending cash out for a short term asset. It might only be $150 but my questioning the trade is 100% how I intended the rules to be utilized. I'm willing to push this deal through if you can give me an explanation as to why the Hawks want to do this, you didn't do that, so I asked. |

I will continue to heavily critique interim trades as they happen. No matter what I do with these types of things, someone is going to be unhappy and at this point I really don't care. The new rules have very specific intentions and its not my fault if they aren't followed and I ask questions.
