Yea this is a flease of a new GM should get a trade committee vote but I'm not crying about it. Would want an explanation from Mavs gm on thought process here

Its almost like no matter what trade happens (interim or not) that someone somewhere will have a problem with it.
I personally would have made it coleman/tomasevic instead of lattner. But if sid wants to full tank I see the upside in taking a 19 year old instead, would fit the timeline better. I really don't hate the two prospects. but imo with those two, I would want cash/pick as well.
With ralph potentially walking away next year for free, I would've wanted cash or pick for that too.
trades are what make the leagues fun, everyone values things differently. Im tired of everyone having to "ok" a trade.
Just let it happen and do your best with your team!

I just think it sucks when a new GM comes in gets fleeced and then isn't active because the team sucks. I don't see anyone overly complaining here. Just giving their 2 cents while offering up a trade committee idea so the new GM doesn't get hosed. Not everyone has to like a trade no one's clamoring for a veto here. But I suppose it's unpopular to think a trades unfair so I will keep my thoughts to myself from now on. I don't want my 2 cents to be interpreted as complaints |

I respect the opinion and everything but it’s clear that the Mavericks don’t really understand the proper values just yet. Idc what happens either way but deals like these that have happened over the last few seasons have genuinely drained my interest and that’’d end up being pretty consequentially detrimental if others felt that way. Seems like we’ve had more lopsided trades the last few seasons than we did before. like I said Idc what happens here but let’s stop acting like this deal makes sense |
